Toasted Studios is a business born in search of a creative outlet. Our founder, Dustin Toasty Hughes, knew from the time he was a child that he wanted to make art his profession. However, as he grew older the realities of life set in and making a living off of art seemed to be less and less realistic. 

When he returned from a two year mission to Uruguay in 2010 he had decided to study Entrepreneurial Management at Boise State University. He enjoyed learning about the concepts of creating a business and a life from nothing. In 2012 he and two partners began to put what they had learned into practice. They created Boise Glow for Cushings Awareness. Dustin also took the opportunity to begin his career in real estate.

Both of these businesses while worthwhile and profitable lacked an aspect of creativity that Dustin had always striven to maintain in his life. He took the opportunity to sketch and paint as often as he could but often was unable to find the time to finish projects.

So in 2016 he decided to pick up a DSLR camera. At first he looked at it as only a hobby. He simply wanted to capture moments and create projects he could be happy with. As he honed his skills people around him noticed his eye for angles and subjects. Within a few short months of owning his first DSLR he had real estate agents asking him to take listing photos for them and soon after was commissioned to create videos for a startup.

He created Toasted Studios as a brand for his work and it became profitable in its first month, paying off his equipment and training. Since then the business has continued to grow and move into more diverse subject matter. Basically if you have an idea, contact us and we will figure out a way to bring it to fruition.
